Project Overview

Initial situation

The introduction of the Riester pension on January 1, 2002 opened up a new market segment for Teleperformance. The state-subsidized pension scheme enabled customers to optimize their private pension provision and benefit from state subsidies at the same time. However, this posed a major challenge for Teleperformance, as they had to establish completely new processes and communication channels with government agencies in order to be able to offer the new Riester products.

Vision

Teleperformance wanted to be able to offer first-class products in connection with the Riester pension without having to deal with the specific requirements of allowance management. They wanted to optimize their insurance products and offer their customers an even better service. In addition, the company aimed to relieve employees of their administrative tasks and thus reduce costs and risks.

The solution

Arvato Systems acted as an IT service provider and supported Teleperformance in meeting this challenge. Arvato Systems took over the development and operation of the central Riester allowance management system, automated processes and established efficient communication channels with government agencies. In addition, a self-service portal was set up for Riester policyholders to enable Teleperformance's customers to handle their requests efficiently and easily. By working with Arvato Systems, Teleperformance was able to realize its vision and strengthen its position in the market.
