In the role of SAP AMS partner and SAP consultant the Arvato Systems project team took over the competent planning and support of the SAP migration, from the kick-off workshop to the in-depth power days and the setup of the productive system through to the hypercare phase after the go-live.
The requirements for process optimization were jointly derived from the analysis of the current status and the strategic vision. In line with the results of this work, Arvato Systems developed process proposals based on SAP best practices and defined the timeline and responsibilities for the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. After setting up the SAP Fiori launchpad, the processes in the SAP modules Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) were set up, interfaces were transferred from the old SAP R/3 system and the data was migrated with the help of the SAP Migration Cockpit. After the test phase, the new system went live, closely accompanied by support from the Arvato Systems team.
