Martin Hullin

Martin Hullin has been Director of the Bertelsmann Stiftung's "Digitalization and the Common Good" program since October 2023, where he and his team develop innovative approaches to strengthening the common good at national and international level. His expertise includes areas such as international digital and data policy, AI and sustainability policy.

Dr. Felix Chr. Matthes

Dr. Felix Chr. Matthes has held various positions at the Oeko-Institut since 1991 and has been Research Coordinator for Energy and Climate Policy since 2009. His research and consultancy work focuses on quantitative and qualitative analyses of climate neutrality strategies and policy mixes. He is co-chair of the German government's National Hydrogen Council.

Gero Lücking

Gero Lücking founded the German Association of the New Energy Economy (bne), where he is Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board. He also works as Leading Expert for Electricity Solutions at Techem Energy Services GmbH. There he is responsible for new business models as an important building block for the digitalization and decarbonization of the building stock.

Ralf Werner

Ralf Werner has been CIO and CDO at Open Grid Europe since 2010. In 2020, he was named CIO of the Year. In his role, he set up an ambitious IT transformation program in the comparatively conservative energy sector and achieved visible success thanks to an agile approach.

Carsten Mönning

In his role as VP Technology and Bertelsmann AI Hub Lead at Bertelsmann Corporate Tech & Data, Carsten Mönning deals with new data-driven technologies in general and AI technologies and their group-wide fields of application in particular.

Nora Tarasjanz

Nora Tarasjanz is Executive Client Service Director at Territory Agency, where she specializes in multi-touchpoint marketing and brand communication. With extensive experience in the development and implementation of integrated communication strategies, she focuses in particular on the energy and utilities sectors.

Dr. Sebastian Heger

Dr. Sebastian Heger is a product manager at soffico GmbH, where he works with customers and partners to develop innovative solutions and business models in the field of data integration for IT and OT. His focus is on standardization, collaborative data spaces and future technologies.

Matthias Moeller

Matthias Moeller has held various management positions in the IT Services division of the Bertelsmann Group since 2003. As CEO of Arvato Systems, he has been responsible for the overall business of the Arvato Systems Group since 2016. Matthias Moeller has also been CIO of Bertelsmann since 2019.

Olaf Steinbrink

Olaf Steinbrink has been the Managing Director responsible for the utilities sector at the Gütersloh-based Arvato Systems Group since 2021. In this role, he leads strategic initiatives and is responsible for innovative IT solutions that are specifically tailored to the needs of the energy and utilities industry.

This year's meeting will again be held at the Bertelsmann Representative Office, Unter den Linden 1, in Berlin. This place is a place of communication, cultural exchange, music, and literature, as well as an architectural gem with a historical backdrop. It has developed into a lively and diverse place in Berlin and is a meeting point for opinion leaders from politics, business, and science.

The evening event on Tuesday, May 06, 2025, will also take place on the premises of the Representative Office. After a short break from the day's program, networking will continue with food and drink.
